It looks to be a quality, well built, purpose built, ITR.
He’s definitely got more than that into it.
FWD rally cars are not unheard of.
I didn’t really think a fwd would be best suited for rally, when I think rally I think awd, a scobby, evo, awd festia etc…
A large amount of FWD cars run in rally. A lot of fiestas and even a few hondas at STPR last year. Seeing this gets me excited for STPR this year. Anyone else on here go?

That thing looks beat to piss and all hacked up. Just my opinion I know what it is and what it was hacked up to be, but id never pay anything close to that for it. Now if it was a mint non beat up on itr, then were talking north of 10k all day.
Obviously this doesn’t appeal to someone looking for a mint, stock example.
I wouldn’t go so far as to call it hacked up, purpose built with quality parts maybe.
This doesn’t look like some typical riceboys honda built with generic, junk, cheap parts.
