yeah, Nissan did market the 240 to women… obviously they missed the mark by a mile!
That’s why the sales were so low and the car never went anywhere… this is true for all 240’s, especially for the S14 (and even more so for the S14 Kouki’s).
Because of the low sales, we never got the S15 here.
Nissan didn’t want to step on their own toes (i.e. 300zx) by pushing the sales of the 240’s. They never cared much about the S-chassis cars… It took good 10+ years for them to become popular, and that’s mainly because of drifting and really cheap price. Neither one of those means anything to Nissan.
But I’m sure we all knew that
