I guess you’re right, in that wet rungs will have a lower coefficient of friction (I’m no engineer, so just a guess). I’ve just never pushed a boat off onto dry land before. In any case, tie-down straps would’ve done this guy a load of good in helping to keep the boat where it belongs. My pointing out everything else is simply to help flesh out a theory that the guy must have been inexperienced.

well for me its usually my jetski, we have a ramp we built with carpet on it, when dry, what a bitch to push off it, when wet that thing wont stay up.
