Stu correct me if I am wrong , but I do not think that an rb if properly maintained would be any less reliable, but I do think an sr would be easier and cheaper to modify than an rb.

you mean spencer corey. but i agree, i only went with the rb cause it was cheaper initially and i wanted to be different. also im a mechanic so i have time and tools to dick around with it all the time.

I was just looking for you to verify that what I was saying was correct, but I guess I was not very clear.

Ugh, some douche-idiot(s) egged my car last night :frowning:

sorry that was me. jk it wasnt. i hate when that shit happens, i still have stress marks in my door jam plastics from when my car got egged.

was it egged in London or St. Thomas? Where do you live because everytime I am in St. Thomas I see your car

I was in London.

Someone actually hit my mirror last time I was in St. Thomas o_O. The road where they hit it is like…50 feet wide, so I don’t know how someone could just hit it. People are cunts.

Mr. Hotrodstu77, msg me the name of the shop you work at, I’m going to need some shit done on my car sometime =/.

haa, I dont come out now cause Im back to driving my Honda shitvic for awhile. Im checking out a new 240 tomorrow may be up for a meet later this week or next

make sure the frame rails arent shit like your last one. Lol

I want an rb to be different too, but I just dont have the time or the money to keep up on maintenance. With an sr its pretty much like a ka, so it is very easy to keep up with the maintenance.

i havent had any maintenacne issues with my car, almost every part is interchangable with a 300zx TT, MR k, i work at a dodge dealership so you dont want thier prices cause they are high and dont know shit lol go to my buddies shop at warncliff and riverside in london call ron’s quality autocare. cheapest labour rates in the city and they do great work. im always hanging out there and my buddy who works there built my car with me so he knows the ins and outs of a 240 as much as i do.

Spencer, if you are going to get an RB20 there is someone selling a new water pump for $100 shipped anywhere in Ontario. I have heard most people replace the wated and oil pumps before they swap in an RB because apparently you need to pull the engine to do it. Just a heads up.

ya for 100 bucks i got the timing belt and water pump with the swap. good deals from riworx  before you consider an rb let james and i figure out all the problems with mine lol. more than likely yours would be fine but better safe then sorry.

ya, I really want an rb, just not the problems. but im sure it will be fine if stu and james help me out a little

totally up to you spencser. what ever you choose we can help you with just know that we havent done an sr before.

Does any1 know which auto wreckers in london have 240’s? s13 is what i need. Quick response, im going there in the mourning. THANKS

bakers

Coreys had a clean auto 91ish hatch 2 weeks ago in one piece. Car looked clean prior to being T boned.

Coreys also has a 89 or 90 red coupe. What are you looking for?

went to bakers, they have 3 that I saw, blue, red and white. all pretty clean. I just needed a headlight pot, and a headlight bezel. Also got some pretty nice shift knobs off of a rx7 and a civic lol.

Do you guys ever meet up on non LAC days, just curious? Thanks
