Is it remotely like snowboarding? (dont know if you snowboard or not, just throwing the question out there)
I dont mind teaching ya. Its a blast! I do not snowbard often so its hard for me to say. Cruising on a regular skateboard is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more work and much less comfortable.

So my girlfriend got me a longboard and we were messing around on it today. Wow, it’s a lot more fun than I imagined! and very easy to just cruise around I just need to get the hang of it. How do you stop though? The kid she bought it from - who is a mutual friend - said to just jump off or go into the grass lol…
i usually stomp my kick foot on the ground to slow down

Newman and I cruised about 12 miles from my house to my moms the other day where my gf met me and gave me a ride home. He met up with GV and they skated back.
Also I stop by just dragging foot or if need be you just jump off/grass.

I felt fine shortly after. My board is sweet for cruising but Newman likes to go at a retarded fast pace.
