Lookin' for a Bodywork Guy/Gal/Creature

Back in July I had a little fender bender. I dented his bumper…

…I destroyed my Header Panel.

In the mean time, I’ve managed to source a new header panel, headlight, and cornering light and have been satisfied with the results thus far. But, I am looking to get the car repainted and while the other body imperfections I can deal with, this is not one that I can.

As you can see, there is a noticeable gap between the header, the hood, and the fender.

It’s should be a simple job, especially since all of the pieces are back on the car. It’s mainly just alignment work, so if anyone is interested and wants to give me an estimate, my number is +1 (412) 353-9532 and if I don’t answer, you can leave a message or send a text.

P.S. If anyone does paintwork wants to try fire an estimate, that’d be cool too. I’m looking for either Silver Birch Metallic or Deep Blue.

talk to supra on here

By the time you are done painting the jambs and the whole car the paint job is going to be worth more than the car itself.

if you get a written estimate from a shop a friend of mine does this stuff for a living andhas work to show how good he is. but get a estimate and he will give you a better price

remove the spot light to. whacker

I am betting that to paint the jambs and whole car and align the front you are looking at about 3 grand

The paint is secondary. Car will never be a show car, so I could just as easily go to Macco and be satisfied with the results. The only thing I’m really concerned about is the alignment on the front.

Far as the Spotlight goes, I did remove it for a short time, but unless I was to get a new front door, the noise that comes through there at speed is horrific. Regardless, it’s not wired into the car and I’ve removed the fuses for it. Next step is welding it into place. Wheel covers should be delivered within the next week, although I’ll still run center caps in place for any track events.
