Looking at Lift options for a 2 car garage.

Why are you pulling the heads out the bottom? Quattro Krant has done 3 or 4 sets in my garage and he’s half bat-shit retarded and I remember helping pull them out the top.

come see my place anytime broski.

You’re welcome to check out my lift anytime if you want a feel for layout and dimensions.

Easy… Mark a spot and cut with Demo-SAW

Sub panel Brah, 250’ of 12/2, outlets everywhere brah, 220 in the ceiling for the lift to plug into brah, Dimmers and fans brah, switch outlets, and madness all set for jackshaft openers and craziness!! I really did over-wire the living shit out of the place. New owners are going to think I’m a loonytoon, or a genious… fine line brah.

Compressor Brah

Ditched the tire equipment because they’re a pita and I don’t use them enough. Thinking of ditching the commercial volume air dryer capable of supporting three times what my compressor can since I won’t EVER paint, but I’ll be putting in a ton of copper and drops this summer and putting the compressor in the back garage (I love you out-building!!) and running a remote three-way switch and plumbing underground so I might keep it.

I can pick up a half ton full sized truck but it’s a rotten bitch with no room. My Ridgeline I can lift up all the way inside with the door open or closed and walk around it and pull tires/change oil.

Rest of my pics I can’t really post due to content since I’m not a sack rider craving attention whore.

I’ll have to come out and see both your places in person when it’s warmer. Maybe the 2 post isn’t impossible. It’d be really nice to have a rep (or someone who has experience cramming lifts into small places) come out and take a look at my setup to see if they have any ideas I haven’t come across yet.

Here is Xanders, I know he is 24’ wide garage for reference:

fuck, i would kill for a couple extra inches (TWSS)

I am at 220" clear width now

Well fuck the DECA plan for now…$1,400 DDU (Whatever the fuck that is) cost on top of purchasing. That doesn’t even include tax. I don’t care to invest the time reinventing how to import it into the states right now. Unless…anyone has suggestions.

Dead in the water for now my friend.

I was never really all warm and fuzzy importing something from China so no harm done.

To be honest the most realistic options for me are:

-buy a 2 post like this: http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas-BP8000
Pros: cheap to buy and install, unrestricted access under the car when working
Cons: trip over it because it takes up the space between cars. all the time.

or

-buy this or equivalent http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas-SLP-7K-Full-Rise-Scissor-Lift

Pros: work comfortably on the car, invisible when not in use
Cons: expensive to buy, expensive to bust up concrete and pour new forms to recess it

I really just stop bitching out the options out there and save up my pennies for option 2 as it’s what I really want/need.

FYI, Option 2 is NOT a recessed ramp. It sits 4 inches on top the pad. Unless you modify it to sit flush. Is that still desirable?

well yeah, i’d have to cut a portion out and repour a recessed slab. that’s why the “con” of price sucks.

yeah…this. I’m finding it cramped even without a lift at all in there.

Can anyone recommend a contractor that could provide a quote on extending the garage width wise? If it helps, the bay where the addition would go already has a slab poured as an extension of the driveway.

Give me a call / text @ 954-3360. I’m with Kaz Brother’s construction now. Thanks.
