seriously.
E30’s can be ok drifters, but they need a lot of suspension work.
i had trouble because it was my first swap and boost build. i was also on a time limit…now with a daily i can take my time. so if parts are a bitch to find and expensive it wont really matter.
as long as your prepared for it. im pretty sure it will matter if you cant find parts. take a look at cky’s e30 build, hes having enough trouble finding parts and im sure for the meantime hes cleared any parts that may have been floating around, along with the other e30 builds going on. since i picked up the rx7, iv realized its not the same as a honda. parts arent so interchangable anymore and its harder to find them. kind of makes me wish i still have my hatch. but iv got better things in mind come springtime.
ifi i have a place for it to sit for a while why would it matter? i’m patient
to each his own then. im not trying to stop you, just trying to help you see things you might not on your own. hell, id love to see a sick e30 drift machine. i just wont believe it until i see it. its all up to you though, you asked for some opinions on cars and you got them. if your seriously interested in building an e30, go for it, but i would keep your possibilities open as of right now.
It’s no longer hard for me to find e30 parts and they’re not as expensive as one may think.
I took my time and did a little research and found several good places to source parts and information. If you take your time and look into things like I did I found it’s really worth while. I’m glad I picked the e30 over something such as a honda to build IMO.
What if your Dad kicks you out? Then youre fucked.
You should just start saving your money instead. Either way, good luck
im trying to find a garage. me and my dad are cool now…family counseling lol
I can attest to this, after that taffys meet especially LOL.
