Looking for a place to repair bent/cracked rim

Hey guys, I need to find a place to repair a busted rim. I hit a pothole about a year ago and curled the inner lip of the barrel in. Where it started to curl it cracked. It’s about a 3" long crack on the inside, and about a 1" crack on the outside (inside being the part covered by the tire). It held air fine for about a year, but it’s definitely broken. I can get a new one for around $200, but would like to pay half if possible. I’m poor, so keep that in consideration. They are 17x7 KMC Tramps. Apparently it’s aluminum but it seems very heavy. I attached a pic.

How much did it cost to get a rim repaired? I have no clue what it costs but if it is close to $200 I will just buy a new one and keep this one as a spare. If it was steel I could fix it myself, but I haven’t learned to TIG yet…

he charged me 50 bucks and mine was bent and cracked pretty bad

Naylor quoted me $85 - $95 by my description over the phone…

i bet he will take it to where i told u to go lol

Is it caterpillar machine or KMP Performance and machine? Those are the only two results when searching for machine in belle vernon area…

its not a big tome repair shop cant even be found on the net i dont think its a lil private owned shop hes an old guy and only works like 5 hours a day

I looked in the yellow pages. I would of thought any legit business would be in there…

I’m still searching. Naylor tire has odd-ass hours and I don’t think I will be able to make it there unless I take a day off of work. It’s about a 100 minute drive and they close at 6. I work till 5. Sat they are open 12 - ? (4?). Thats my only hope of making it there so I was hoping to find something more convienent if I could.
