So who is the best, I won’t a few things done. I need a cover up and I want a new tattoo. No portraits, basic stuff. I want a new tattoo of a anchor with my daughters names on it, I know it’s a common tattoo but that’s hat I want. I also want a cover up, maybe a old ship or something along those lines.
I’m looking for the best guy around, I can wait. I remember back in the day hearing tattoo don or something like that. Let me know who to look up.
Hand of Doom. Artvoice Best of Buffalo 7 or 8 years in a row.
Jon Mirro, Chris Lombardi and Josh Schlageter and Marcus Mancini are all unbelievable tattooers.
Jon is the hardest to get with because he travels back and forth from Vegas where his other shop Battle Born is. When he is home he is basically totally booked.
Yeah I know, I’m kinda looking for the cleanest lines, shading, best artists, lol. Im looking for the NY Yankees of artists if that makes sense. I’m just picky, sorry but I got a terrible tattoo when I was 18 at Tracy’s on Elwood back in the day.
True, but there is a difference if you compare a Ford escort to a Ferrari because you like said escort. I happen to love a 91 escort GT but would rather have a Ferrari. Just because your friend did a good tattoo doesn’t make him the best.
it deff depends on what style you are looking for. i go to josh at Holy Ground Tattoo (clinton/harlem) hes done the majority of my tattoos, and hes tattooed my ma,dad, brother and most of my friends. i’ve got a traditional japenese sleve, black/grey portraits, american traditional, script, all sorts of things from him. HOD/rise above also does great work too!
I think out of all those albums I like Chris’s work the best. I’ve gotten all mine done by Skyler Townes of Sky High Ink in Perry, NY, but I’ll probably change it up and head to HOD for the start of my sleeves.
