Could be, it does go up slightly there but it’s only about 1" or so. Even before we did tile when there was vinyl floor in the kitchen it still needed a something to bridge that gap.
I think what he is trying to say though, is that you can buy a reducer transition strip that will bring it down the hardwood floor without going up first. That looks goofy the way it is in there now.
Oh ok, I get what he’s saying now. Yeah that’s something we plan on doing, this project is by no means finished lol. I still have to refinish the hardwood floor, so I’m not going to bother installing a transition strip until that’s done.
Keep in mind I haven’t even moved in yet as there’s still a good amount of work to do on the house before it’s ready for that, I just wanted to get a picture up of what the tile looked like.
