Lost Airflow from Incar Climatecontrol Vents...

Yeo~!

We’ll i popped in a HKS Mushroom a few weeks back… Removed the entire Airbox; leaving a sensor and a hose (not sure where hose led to -emmissions control device?) un-attached…

My problem is… when i did this… I lost use of my InCar-Climate-Control… air will no longer move through the vents… (which i freeze to death in the mornings on my way to work)…

Not sure whats up… i tried re-attaching the sensor…

(Also, I may have a odd electric problem,… dating back to when i first purchased teh car… my car stereo won’t work unless the lights are turned ON and my Speedo dips and dances all over the place…)…

Help and some Schooling would be much apprciated… Thanks!

check out the blower motor

There’s probably something else going on. Maybe a nuked relay or fuse as a result of the electrical issues you’ve been having.

The sensor attached to your airbox detects intake charge temperature. The hose attaches to your AIV box, which uses additional air to help warm up your cat faster (an emissions component)…this is all IIRC.

Good luck.

Ok… Went over the fuses… both the blower motor fuses seems to be OK… found the STEREO and CIG LIGHTER fuses blown… So, I had em swapped… (my stereo will finally work with teh headlights off! lol)

But yeah… I took apart teh centre console to check the connections around the Blower/Heater assmebly… everything was plugged in and seemed to be in order from what i could see… Is there a RELAY for it somewhere by anychance? All I have is a PDF FSM… and the pages onthe Blower assembly are mind boggling~

u might want to check the blower motor resistor

Does it still blow air at the maximum setting just not the inbetween settings? If so then its your blower motor resistor forsure.

She won’t BLOW at all (…LOL)… ^___^
