Hey folks, so i was puttin gas in my s13 at 5am before work, while half asleep i forgot the gas cap on my hatch and took off without it. went back but couldnt find it ? does it matter if i drive without a gas cap ? or do other ones fit ? any advice. thanks
Should be able to go to CT and get one there…
In the short term, it wont matter what kind of cap you have. But in the long term, you will be loosing gas due to evapouration. Just go to a Nissan dealership, and grab one that has been tested for its seal.
Trust me, they test them, I used to work there. You’d be suprised how much of a difference it makes to haveing one that works, compared to a shitty one from CT.
well i just got one from a 91 max. it seems to look the same, fits too but doesnt feel as tight when it twists, is it still good and whats a oem gas cap run for ?
get the JDM cap. shit adds like 15 hp.
