You try going from a 1st gear roll at 45mph on a cold night when your at 4500rpms, and you let me know how you make out in a car with 400+rwhp.
hell, ask pete. On a perfect straight away from a 2nd gear hit at 60 my tires still spun, and spun going into 3rd.
Try not starting in first… If your spinng that bad your to busy wasteing time getting off power after another 2 grand to shift and then spin/bog down a bit. If your digging that a diff story, but first from a 40 roll seems like half your problem
and like I said, stop mashing the pedal to the ground… if you ease till the car gets enough momentum from the power it should help with the spinning…
My power band is 4200rpms-7k. If I start in 2nd from a 45 roll, this puts me below 4k and Out of my power band.
The car hooks in warm weather, not in cold.

Yes but the car will get going before you hit your power band helping with the spinning…
If your in your “peak” when you mash on the pedal your tires spin because your in your range where you make the most power, you shift your still spinning and bareley going anywhere…
If you start below your power band your not torquing as much the car build up momentum and wont spin as bad , when you go into 3rd it will spin but feather the gas to keep yourself from blowing sideways and loosing momentum
It’s not Need for speed, you dont just floor and and wiggle around everywhere while still doing 100+mph

Myself, Crazy250, Plaf, and i think 1 other got tickets for going through the tunnel at an “unreasonable and imprudent speed”, which means they dont know wtf they are talking about and didnt get the radar on anoyone. I honestly wasnt speeding, i jumped on it in 1st gear, and was doing 35 TOPS. So ill be fighting it. Also got a ticket for “1 of my 4 slicks”:wierd
they may say unsafe start then.
