Low Mileage Car : Value?

So I know everyone craves a low mileage car right? Well I’ve bought and sold cars probably more then most and never had a problem selling a clean car.

I’ve ran into an interesting car. A 1988 Camaro Convertible. The car is a plain jain v8 camaro. White with a grey interior, 305 V8 auto with maybe a killer 200hp. Kicker is it only has 20,000 original miles. :eek3

Now I know this car isn’t super fast or special, and that to re-sell it I will need to find the right buyer but I might be able to get it for a fair price. I also thought about just daily driving it for the money haha.

Hurry up and buy it as Def Leppard is in town this weekend. Guarantee to sell it there

park it up front with some bushy haired tattered jean short model on the hood?

would make a great car for someone who loves those years and wants to swap the dog of a motor out. It wont ever be worth anything but would be fun with the right motor. Someone should swap in the 4cyl turbo LTG motor, would def turn some heads.

Low mileage alone doesn’t make something valuable. It need’s to be low mileage AND a desirable vehicle.

I don’t see many people lining up for a crack at a 20k mile 1988 Camaro, much less giving top dollar because of low miles.

I agree 100%

personally low miles means absolutely nothing to me, but I am an oddball

yeah I’ll probably pass, especially since the guy hasn’t really gotten back to me about it.

Like those sub 20k mile 70’s pick up trucks that are not quite “the right model” that sell at Mecum for $3,000-5,000. Every time I see that I think about picking up a nice winter beater there. LOL
