it’s going to be a high reving motor… and 383ft/lbs is low torque for 590hp.
LS7 still seems to be a better motor.

I’m not saying Honda can’t be a player in the V8 market, but they’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
V8 isn’t really all about Horsepower, its about low-mid range torque, with high end horsepower as well.

Your comparing a motor that is 1.4L larger and is supercharged to this motor. i dont see how you can, now maybe if you compared an american 4.0L v8 to it then whatever.

@ you idiots whining about torque numbers. 600hp small displacement V8 that revs to 10,000 RPM’s. I cant imagine why its not making huge torque numbers. That car and motor are fucking badass.
torque: 383lb/ft / 7500rpm <— kind of high rpm for that kind or torque, what you bet it’s flat till the VTEC KICKS IN…
