how difficult would it be to put a ls1 in to something like a nova provided you got the harness with the motor?
?
in this nova, probably not that easy
in this nova, it would be a lot easier than most of the other cars people put ls1s in. although, if i had an old nova id be putting a big block in it.
tons of people do it. check out www.pro-touring.com also check out www.t56kit.com they offer lots of parts for LSX and T56 swaps in early GM muscle cars. if you can fabricate it should be no problem. also if/when you buy an engine tranny combo, get the pcm too, unless your going to a carb setup.
obviously the second stylenova prolly gonna do up another 77
lol i hadnt seen a mid-80s nova anywhere in years, so i had to take the chance to post one of GMs finest products!
You never see mid 80s gm cars unless they’re vettes or camaros
I haven’t seen a celebrity in a while LOL
Nova…best car ever marketed to the spanish population
“No go”
SWEET GM
Somewhat easier with wiring, produces a little bit more power.
derrick is anti FI
i guess u missed project blue hair on muscar on spike eh?>
not true. http://snopes.com/business/misxlate/nova.asp
cliffs: doesn’t mean no go in spanish. if you were buying a dinette set that was “notable” you wouldn’t assume there was “no table” would you? “no va” means “no go.” (two seperate words) anyway, if they were selling their cars to spanish people, wouldn’t they have to have someone working for them that spoke spanish to tell them of this before they started shipping them there?
anway… my dad had one of those 88 novas and it went for like 270,000 miles. you should definitely figure out how the hell to put an ellis juan (ls1) into that thing. sleeeeper.
oh yeah, why is this in off topic and not general automotive? seems to be auotomobile related.
Ez as pie Then again i’m just a disturbed loving mullet boy :headbang:
Along with those two sites, LS1tech has an entire sub-forum overflowing with all the information you’re going to need.
howd i forget ls1tech gah. but it should be a pretty straight forward swap, most parts you would need are availible somewhere, you just have to search a little.
cool
