thanks again. everything went well indeed…now i just need to get parking brakes setup. could reuse the stock LS1 rears, but with alittle modification or buy some other aftermarket brand which still might not be a direct bolt in.

you refering to why i called it a LS1 rear end. thats what we thirdgen guys call the 98+ rear ends cuz they have the bigger brakes. lol we call it LS1 brakes so its called LS1 rearend

i remember a green formula with a 6banger it that went 11s all day long and it had a 3.8 in it

its a big car that was know for the v8’s. muscle car/ pony car since the 60’s…it should always have a V8. the whole platform is designed for performance and thus should be mated with a v8.

it would be like buying a v6 viper…doesnt make sense. sure they can be fast but it just seems best suited for a V8. same thing with V6 mustangs. if you want a economy car get a car that was designed for a v6 or I-4.
