The more I look at it, the more I am liking it. That front bumper still needs some work though.

My Beef is that they are rebadging pre-existing Holden cars instead of coming up with something on their own. As long as it’s not another V8 FWD, it will be okay with me.

I thought that too in the beginning when the GTO came over, but it makes sense now. The platforms are already developed and they are well-liked where they are sold. Then I thought, “Why should GM spend money they don’t have on chassis when they are already built and tested?” In the end, it makes perfect business sense.

They could still use the already-developed platforms, but a little change would be nice. They are nearly identical. You know, change the headlights and the grille, bumper or something. Not saying develop a completely new car.

so what the difference maybe BMW can redesign there cars they ship to the US. its still gm but under a different name like Opel
