No I have the NA 3.8L engine. People are now just attempting to turbo and supercharge it. One car started on fire so I will wait until they perfect it LOL
Hyundai specifically made sure the genesis sedan v8 engine wouldn’t fit in the gencoupe 
Its 306hp so that is fast enough right now for me. Plus I am losing my tuner garage when I move back to blo Someone put a 2jz in a gencoupe. That is pretty sick!

na probably not i dont know a ton of people on here and dont know many of the 240 guys. but yea thats nutts a 2j in a gen it just sounds weird haha im putitn a built 2j in my s13 right now but im slacking. i got a 330 wheel evo to hold me over. till its done.

don’t know much about the genesis other than I drove a V6 one and it was not my cup of tea. My only experience with them other than a test drive was trying to chase a modded 4cyl turbo one around gingerman. That little fucker is quick on the straights. How do you like the ARK exhaust, my dad has a gencoupe and I want him to get an exhaust this summer
Pros:
It sounds amazing
Looks great
It changes color. Looks purple at first but its blue and green now.
Its pricy but order thru Havoc Motorsports on Gencoupe. They will give you the best price. Talk to Mike. PM me and I can give you his info.
It was not to hard to install yourself.
Cons:
I didn’t scrape for the first few months but sometimes you can’t avoid it. My car is lowered .75 inches to that doesn’t help either.
The exhaust is true dual so it is not adjustable. The exhaust was redesigned to sit higher but it is still low. They probably raised it .5 inches.
I had a fitment issue and one of the flanges had to be rewelded, Cost me $106 got half back from ARK. The rest of the install was done in my garage.
I love it and nothing else sounds like it so there is still nothing I would replace it with.
I’ve heard every exhaust before making a decision. There is a huge gencoupe groupe in the NYC area. Like 30 or so come to meets.
CPE is ricey/sounds like a motorcycle
HKS (fake dual pipes) and magnaflow for the gencoupe don’t sound half as good.

If you want to hear mine this summer let me know! Its in storage right now. I have cat back. The test pipe sounds amazing but I like that my cabin is quiet and I didn’t void my bumper to bumper warranty for 5 years.

The track edition is sick. You get brembos and LSD. A lot of dealers don’t have the top of the line model. I had to drive to SC to get my track in gray and manual.
Thanks that was my favorite meet. Almost every color we had except silver and baby blue.

Where we hang out in yonkers/scarsdale (central ave) theres always a group of about 20 coupes that roll through…mostly stock, a few with an exhaust and thats it… Ive seen a few done up nicely but idk…just not feeling the car itself…
