Bah, they’ve only had security by obscurity… Nobody hacks them because nobody cares enough to do it.

They also hacked it because they were given a shell account… They just didn’t break into it… A local vulnerability is completely different than a remote vulnerability (not that they aren’t as important)
That is so true… Meanwhile I"ll enjoy my virus-free… Hacker Free, Stable comptuer. *nix is such an obscure OS that I think that everyone should be affraid of mac osx.
As was mentioned the “hacker” was given a shell account… so it wasn’t much of an outside Job. I’m sure if you did the same test on a windows machine it would net the same result. It’s a LOT easier to hack if you have an account.
