i dont think a lack of troops is the problem. Its gonna end up the same as Israel. The Israeli’s could wipe them off the face of the map in an afternoon, but they cant because it would piss off the international community. So they play this kiddy game where it just goes back and forth. The palestinians blow up a bus, the Israeli’s hit back with a small helicopter attack. Back and forth, back and forth, and the body count just keeps getting higher and higher, unless of course, the US makes a stand and takes an EXTREMELY FIRM stance and makes it so that the repurcussions for such an attack are too much for the agressors to bear. These people didnt pull shit like this when Saddamm was in power, because they knew if they did, they were fucked. This is the only thing they know. They see us as weak, and the people over there that are planning this shit know how incidents like this can sway public opinion. They know the public cant stomach seeing americans drug through the streets. They know that the US cant use their full force because of the international criticism it would draw. I dont know how many times they compared this on the news to the shit that happened back in Somaila, and how it caused the removal of US troops from the area. These people aren’t dumb.
