i have a 95 240sx
i am missing the air filter box that is behind the driver headlight
i’m guessing the previous owner had a cold air and didn’t bother putting the
stock box back in
so basically is there a MAF sensor attached to the air filter box??
because i can’t rev above 2500 rpm
and idle is so low, it will almost always stall
does anyone have a MAF sensor for sale??
there is another connector beside the MAF sensor i think
anyone know what that is for??

You should slap some sense into whoever your prev. owner was.
As well as yourself for not realising your car doesnt rev past 2500 before
you bought it.
I’m not sure what that other ‘wire is’. :dunno:
uhh…i got it from a dealer as is
yeh i know…i gotta deal with the problems
and the ignition wires were cut when i bought it because the guy took out
his remote starter and left the wires in a mess
so i couldn’t test the car before i bought it
yeh i know…sounds dumb right…
but i was willing to spend the time fixing it
u might aswell just get a cold air intake from ebay rather than get a regular one intake box…it looks nicer sounds better!! lol…and then just pick up a dohc maf off of someone on here
not sure if the s13 KA24de MAF is the same but i have 2 spare ones one but its self and one already atteched to an injen cold air intake i used for 3 months before i got my SR20det let me know if it works i am looking to get rid of them

i tried selling my s14 mafs to someone for their s13 and the plugs are totally different
anyways i got one for u … i actually got both for u
the other connector is intake air temp

yeah hook that up, my s14 didnt have it plugged in either when purchased and we swapped in the stock air box and hooked it up and it ran much better
ya i think it puts it in some sort of limp mode without it. runs rich im pretty sure
has something to do with the secondary o2 and measuring cat efficiency or some bullsiht
frigging emissions ricers

Regardless of the cold air intake or not you will still need a MAF.
