I was reading that in turbo cars, the closer the MAF is to the throttle body the better it is for throttle response, etc. I was wondering if this applies to N/A cars as well. My MAF is way down in the front of the wheel well and i was wondering if it might be affecting my cars performance.
I was thinking of doing something like this.
mines similar, but goes across the fan shroud and down. I was thinking of trying it that way, might be an improvment. the only problem with that way, i would have to relocate my battery and im pretty sure i would loose my winshield washer fluid.
You could just leave the filter above in the engine compartment.
but then its sucking hot engine air. :butthead:
Russ, sure did a nice job on that S14. That is the usual ae86 way.
