i think that second one looks pretty damned good…just play around with different fonts and settings. just make like 5 different variants of it and post them all up.

yeah the decals will be of a two - three colour logo, business cards are not a problem. as with most items i have some contacts, so cost is not an issue.
thanks to all who are trying, i realise that some people are too busy who might put forth some really impressive stuff, but i am quite happy to have the people i try and hook up take part in my operation and put forth their efforts and suggestions. i prefer it that way actually.

A nice easy (and free) way to get some ideas for an actual LOGO (sometimes referred to as a “bug”) is go to http://www.instalogo.com/ and choose “Try It.” You can see a bunch of common symbols that may relate to your industry. It’s kinda cheating, but it comes in handy when you need ideas.
$60 / hr. is pretty standard (cheap, even) for freelance graphics.
K cuv’s second one would look awesome on the back of a shirt or on the top of a website. But i think the third bings (black and red) with the maple leaf looks the best for decals.

WOW that angers me to no end, that first post there is the most blatant plagarisim I have seen in years.

yeah, I also like the logo you’ve got there bing, looks cool, I’d personally squash it down a bit though. it’ll fit nicer into the webpage if it’s compressed vertically and the design will look even racier.
I’m just saying for IDEAS. I’d never consider using them for the EXACT design.
