so guys,
my site is up and sorta kinda functional, still working on it a bit.

what i am REALLY lacking is a sharp logo

www.bings.ca is the site and what i want in the logo is this:

  • the logo should obviously focus on the word / name BINGS
  • does not all need to be capitalised but the “B” must be capped
  • i want it to be aggressive and fast, something that fits our interests (sliding, recklessness, jdm tyteness)
  • nothing to similar to what is already out there for logos
  • doesnt necessarily need to have a car in it but that might be neat. if it does it should be an S13

whats in it for you?

if someone makes a logo that i fall in love with i’ll give you something you need for your car.

i’ll give the lucky person one of the following:

  • slotted subframe collars
  • B&M style short-shifter
  • 3" test pipe
  • S13 polished cooling panel

which ever you decide.

please submit at least yours ‘bings’ logo and maybe a “B” logo as well.

thanks guys, im hoping to come out hard in 2006 when War of the Wheels airs our 240sx episode on Global and we are working on some other fun stuff here in niagara as well as well as a big article and interview with Modified Mag to appear in their SEMA issue

black should be an important part of the logo because my car is black as will every primary 240sx i own… gotta love it…

black and a dark red is what i kinda want, but if you can pull off something cool that is different then so be it.

i want to be able to make decals out of the logo and maybe fender decals out of the B like the Advan ‘A’

i was thinking about putting a S13 in it, but i think the only way it could be in it is if it was sliding and the BINGS was kind of in its dust or some shit like that.

k cuv that looks damn good but maybe use some of the car pic as a background for what you did already, like an inlay. but a def :tup: to that one.

yea its a pic of a sideways S13 with now bumper and a giant intercooler and some smoke at the back tires…looks hot but u can barely tell by wha ti did to it…ill have to play around i guess

i dont think thats what tom or i was implying. he knows there is a difference between someone who has the tools and someone who has the training…as do i. I’m sure Bing knows that asking for something like this on a public forum isnt going to yeild proffesional results, but instead somethign that looks decent and suits his needs.

like you have never looked at someone elses wiring and thought about how you could do better. which is not waht tom or i was saying, but i think thats what you were defending.

gl making decals out of that. close to $2 a decal if you CMYK transfer on white 5-7 vinyl. you want vector art, not raster/pixel based, and preferably 2 color, if you ever want business cards made with the logo, or flyers, 2 color is at least a third of what you will pay for full color. plus two color die-cut decals look sharp as hell and are easy to transfer, the printed ones fade real quick. :gotme: if you do go two-color, make sure the “designer” has the colors set as pantone spots or they will charge you for the artwork setup.
