Go watch some of the other videos. Multiple clutch dumps are just spectacular for longevity. Not too mention we have no idea what the retard didn’t tape.
This douchecanoe behavior warrants a lot more than just getting the valet fired in my own opinion. If the guys boss is so clueless that he/she isn’t aware of what’s going on then they deserve to be reemed as well.
PS I wonder how much a set of 4 OEM Conti GT tires cost…
Never got tipped before parking a car always after.
Ran my ass off and got shafted on tips by a lot of douches and hated splitting tips with some people.
But it was nice extra money but never did I do any drifting or heaters.
Haha there was a guy at Shanghi Reds or Duo about 2 years ago that pulled in with a Dale Jr Monte. He told the kid valeting that he would park it himself and was a complete douche to the kid saying how he didn’t know true power or knew what a real car was. After like 3 min of the guy showing off for his wife and being a dick, the kid finally said “Sir, I drive a year old S4. If you don’t want us to park it for you, the self park lot is down the street.” or something to that matter.
There was some good times working valet. I miss it and wouldn’t mind doing it part time to pass time and be outside. My big ass tho had trouble getting into some cars. I def red lined a few cars right in front of people when I was getting in becuase I never wanted to put the seat back and my foot hit the gas.
I currently work at a hotel at a ski resort and have done a few valet shifts. Tips were almost always after pulling the car back up. There is NO way to beat on the car though as it is all in plain sight of the entire hotel.
And beating on someone else’s property is a total douche move.
Tips are done up front if you have a high end car or you’re looking to be remembered later.
If you’re looking to be remembered later when there is a crowd of people trying to get their cars and it’s a busy night at a popular restaurant or hotel $3-4 up front is a good idea, along with $2-3 afterwords. That’s in Buffalo, in Vegas we’re talking $5-$20 up front and the same afterwords. It cost me $50 at the Palazzo to keep my M5 up front next to my buddy’s M5 and the hotel’s Rolls for two nights, and I tossed them another $30 on the way out.
Like I said before, any smart person valeting their car will pay both times, especially if its a nice car. It’s up to the valet guys to get the tip from the guy regardless of who drives his car.
If you splitting tips, then there’s no flaw. either way you get a tip both times and if you think you’re not going to get a tip, then you shouldn’t be valeting in the first place.
Its all the placement of the valet. Some places I have worked had the lot across the street. ripping tires would be noticed but the mall, hell you could take a car for a quick spin down the 90 without anyone knowing.
as a valet it really all comes down to being an appreciative and respectable person. I could tell you countless stories of all kinds of people in all kinds of cars. Valet’s are people too, respecting another person regardless will get you alot further in life. However this valet is a douche and is the reason that people say shit like “hey I watch dateline, or hey I’ve watch that speacial on valets…”
