PITTSBURGH – Two people were shot, one fatally, in an apparent home invasion in the Lincoln-Lemington section of Pittsburgh on Friday afternoon.
Police said a man went to his daughter’s house at 6409 Apple Avenue around 12:45 p.m. and found three alleged burglars inside the home.
Police said the father shot two of the alleged burglars, killing one. The third alleged burglar escaped.
The injured victim was taken to Mercy Hospital. The person’s name and condition have not been released.
The father is licensed to carry a firearm.
No arrests have been made.
