If you work hard or work on cars alot, get a ring that can be cut off.
You will thank yourself if it ever comes to that.
I have no ring input… but I do want to say that a winter wedding at holiday valley is an amazing idea.
Two years ago my dad was on a ladder and was on his way down when he slipped and his ring finger got stuck on top of the ladder, it ripped his skin off the finger. It looked like a split hotdog, you could fold the skin away and see the bone. He had three surgeries and his hand still isn’t right.
I have a platinum miligrain band… pretty popular style. 8mm i think…

Best thing to do is ask yourself where you would wear it and think of the durability factor. Also (my personal opinion) you dont want anything too strong. I only say that because I almost had my finger tear out of it’s socket not too long ago. I jumped off of a structure that I was holding onto and my ring got cought on a piece of metal. It bent the shit out of my ring and the piece of metal. But it also dug the ring nicely into my finger. thankfully my ring almost tore in half due to the metal piece it was stuck on almost cutting through it. But what was enough to help it fall loose from the piece it was stuck on.
BTW i have a white gold ring.
JustKarter beat me to it but ya what he said.
I chose Ti for two reasons" lightweight, and strong. It’s fun for opening beer bottles too.
Yeah its so true. I’ve seen pintch crush injurys where the finger swells up and they have to cut the ring off. If you have a ring they cannot cut thru guess what? Gloves dont fit right ever again.
Also welding slag if you weld without gloves is pretty dangerous, you’ll wanna be able to cut your own ring off right after your burned.
Those tire thread rings are awesome, I would seriously rock one.
mines white gold and its pretty hefty. No diamonds so i lack bling.
But i looked at the TC ones to, issue 1 is you cant re-size it i was told. and it feels like nothings on so it might be possible to lose it easier.
I have this band in TC as well. I have yet to find something that will scratch it.
I went with Titanium. It’s light, strong and cheap. I didn’t need or want any bling.
Or just take it off. I take mine off when I work on my car and every morning when I work out.
I went with TI for mine. I wanted a TC one, but all I could find at the time were really wide rings, which I didn’t want. It’s pretty lightweight and was inexpensive to boot. I went with a dull finish because I knew it would get scratched up alot and I didn’t want to have to worry about it.
black titanium with a thin gold band running through the middle
i’m getting this one:
Titanium rings CANNOT be re-sized easily, right?
Something to keep in mind IMO. Or don’t get fat, you married fggts.
Yep, but they are usually cheap enough to buy another one in right size.
heres a pic of mine-
I believe the point of a wedding ring is to keep it for your entire life and not to buy one as your size fluctuates haha.
Thanks for the confirmation on that.
And word to what ryanmcell just said. That’s really why I said it’s something to keep in mind.
ever consider tattoo rings?
