Interesting thing I stumbled onto:

Thanks to a handy gadget from Matrox we have managed the perhaps mythical feat of running 4 seperate monitors from my poor wheezing, 6800 Go equipped laptop. Well, I say wheezing, but actually it held up well enough to run a few laps of my current favourite tipple, the GTR2 preview code… on three screens and at the frankly humongous resolution of 3,840x1,024.

It’s certainly a perfect showcase for GTR2’s fancy high resolution 3D cockpits. The final shot is of the Lotus Elise, which has a central driving position and as a result gives the best representation of the effect. As you scroll across the image it should feel like you are looking around the cockpit. The amazing thing is, this is entirely playable and all comes from just one VGA port, meaning I had the laptop’s screen showing my MSN messenger contacts as I batted through Eau Rouge.
