Matte Black whatever thread (formerly the matte black elise thread)

Flat blue is fuggin hot. I never realized.

There is a difference between matte and flat, most of these cars are matte almost semi-gloss at best.

The Matte Black looks almost like it has a silverish tinge to it…thats what I like about it.

Ugh flat paint.

i disagree, i don’t think any of the cars look that good with a flat/matte finish, it looks cheap. it looks ok, but i would never go out of my way to paint any nice car like that.

Can anyone find me a pic of a flat black 84 ta? I wanna see how it looks. I love the paint of the elise…that was hot. It looks almost like a very deep silver/black depending where the light hits it.

Thats exactly what I thought. Its kind of cool. I wonder how well that finish holds up and what type of care it needs?

Flat black only really looks good on high end cars. It just looks cheap and trashy on your average car.

saw this in person. a friend of mine at school is his neighbor. wasnt running at the time tho. very nice car. needs 2.8 stroker kit(which is what its getting, i think)

I love how everyone has such a hardon for flat paint like its this new thing.

The only cars flat black looks good on…

damn, that civic is hot. i think i might have a new plan, lol

wow. just wow. the whole point of flat black wasnt to llok good and it wasnt intended for high end cars. it was meant to look cheap and trashy. silly new age car era.

Yeah, but no one likes poor people or crappy cars.
