Does anyone have the tool for the rear calipers on an 04 Mazda 3 so I can turn the piston back into the caliper let me know Im in the south hills
does it have notches in caliper? if so pick one up at advance. it will be a little cube with different pins to push the piston back in. they are under ten bucks for it.
some stores will rent it as well, shouldnt be a problem.
use a pair of needle nose and a screwdriver to wind it back in. use the needle nose as the "tits
, and wedge the screw driver through the needle nose to pry on-- think of a cork screw.
or go to harbor freight and pick up the kit to wind in pistons. it is liek 20 bucks, and believe it or not it is not a piece of shit. i picked a set up for my own use, and never had a problem. they now make a set that has a rh thread and lh thread tool which is nice too.
/\ Advance “loans” a set that looks a lot like that one above… I liked it so much I bought one of ebay
It works really well
Wish I knew harbor frieght had a $20 one…

Just looked this up for someone at work, i paid over $40 for it years ago. good deal
I use needle nose pliers and some force. What works sometimes is give it a slight turn out, then use some force and turn the piston in. Eventually it will go in.
