my car is fine now, minus a hood which i’m getting soon. i’m then selling it soon

and my car ran 14.6 in the 1/4th.
Several times I’ve seen that car get almost shaken(shook?) off of the lift it was on. I was always in love with the car. Never thought I’d ever talk to the owner lol.
Also didn’t know you still had it!
What a shame. I loved that car too…too bad it didn’t fall off the lift…insurance or some shit…lol. I’ve had it sitting here forever. When I got the car back, it was pretty mangled…my dad worked there, I told him to tell the guy to simply replace the transmission. Too bad that was way too much (or little?) to ask. And to throw some tie rods in there for me. I got the car back, and everything was fucked up down to even the stereo. The guy failed on all accounts of working on the car. The transmission had no fluid in it (thank god I pushed it, didn’t even start the car before towing it home and checking all the fluids!) The alignment was so bad it was next to impossible to even get traction in my fucking garage…a flat concrete surface. I fixed everything myself with an amazing audi expert I had been friends with for years, and it was no doubt they had butchered everything they touched. Not to mention they lied to me about next to everything, one second saying he had no problem putting the fluid in (even though it was leaking everywhere when I checked on the car randomly one day), and then later told me he had trouble checking the engine codes. I replied, how the hell did you put the fluid in? (you need a VAG COM, not a standard autozone odb2 checking machine). Not to mention it took 9 months to get the fucking car back. So I worked on it for a week straight, got most of the shit fixed…til I ended up fucking the hood up real bad driving…basically it didn’t secure down when I was testing the car and it ended up smashing the windshield. I got so pissed after that I just gave up for a long time. Garaged the car, moved out of state, and said fuck it. I’m back now, fixed the car, it runs and everything…just waiting on the hood to come back from my dad’s friends. We will see. I’m hoping to just dump the car off at 6 grand. It’s actually decent and driveable now, but needs a little work here and there to make a perfect car again…who knows. I did as much as I could myself, but ended up sending the car to Jason at Black Forest. He saved the car’s life mechanically. I even drove it for the first time after that a little again…it was actually fine once again. It’s been through hell though…
I just want an S2000 now, something to drive and be happy with stock. I pulled into that damn garage with a perfect car minus the transmission not shifting, and the tie rods making a little noise. Left there with much more then I bargained for…
I know the car was fucked with further, I didn’t have time to get into it more. Kids threw things at it climbed on it and I’m sure much more. The auto-tech teachers suck there, you would have been better off having the auto body students work on it(my class)

I’m around until August, but my MR2 is not running and hasn’t been in a year. My ambition to fix it is far too low as well.
Pat has a mazdaspeed miata and drives a yellow s4 his stepdad picked up for cheap as a daily while he works on it. I’m not really into cars ‘as much’ only because I’m way too busy with real life to allow something like that to get in the way of my career goals. Sounds gay I know, but when I’m older you’ll find me at the track every weekend…when I have time and want to spend weekends working on projects. Pat and I still hang out when I’m around. Sucks he wants to move to atlanta when he graduates, and I’m going to live in ct full time soon. So who knows.
I’ll bug him about it, and do it myself later once he’s back in town.
Why atlanta, its fucking hott here and us whites are the minority by far!!!, Downtown is sweet and there is alot to do, but once you do it all then what?
