degrees are varied at all colleges, its going to be really hard to compare between schools… some places probably have good MET programs, others don’t. Just like some have good ME programs and others don’t.

In the end the argument is pointless, and not really related to the OP’s question.

I think what needs to be re-stated to the OP is that do NOT expect to get the median, or even the low salary from those salary aggregate sites, especially in Buffalo. If you can land an ME job fresh out of college regardless of the pay consider yourself lucky in Buffalo. Get some experience, then start bitching about not making enough and find somewhere that will hire you for more money.

Just leave Buffalo, or don’t bitch? I make more, live in a lower COL area with a higher quality of life. I don’t get it :shrug:
