Meet my Edelweiss

Very nice pick up, they are great to drive, good gas mileage too

Over the 8 hour drive yesterday and a lot of around town driving today, and I’m at 28.8 mpg. Not complaining.

And yes, I’m obviously a Nazi.

Awesome, Huge  to another white BMW, Ive been looking a 328’s lately, def nice car, I may hold out another season for an M though. So will it see some track time ?

Edelweiss = alpine flower, hence the symbol of the mountaineers.

So I guess it’s an appropriate name for a girl’s car…

I thought weiss meant white, not flower

Nice car. I was never a fan of Boxsters. It seems like they only had the Porsche name and repair bills; not the performance. I am seriously looking at a BMW for my next car as well. I thought I liked the M3 but now that Mike posted about his M5 I think I may have a new favorite.

I loved the Boxster, and I think everyone on this board that has driven mine would say the same thing. It was a really fun car to throw around. Not the BEST car ever, but she had her own style and I dug it.

And of course this car will see the track. My requirement was that I needed a car that I could do a little of everything in - daily drive, winter drive, track drive, autocross, etc. Okay, except rally cross or road rally, lol.

 Very cool

love it or hate it my cars will not be put to rest. :eekdance:

Nice car cassie, I like that color.

I’m usually a huge basher of people who trade in two cars to buy one boring bimmer just because it has the BMW badge and 2 doors

but that’s a beautiful pick up

as I said on roclife… m3 front bumper / mirrors. csl trunklid. oh and KWs.

maybe there’s a reason for it…

being the coupe and white, makes it look so good. nice pick up

Thanks! You gotta remember though, I didn’t trade in two cars so that I could buy this one car. Traded in the Boxster for almost what the new car was selling for. Sold the e30 for over half of the cost of the new car. Old monthly payment ~$400, new monthly payment ~$150.

It’s not like I was lusting after this car and did something stupid to buy it. It made extreme financial sense, and since I really LOVE the car, I didn’t mind making the change!

Douche, you know I’m doing this stuff. We’re gonna have his and hers cars at the same mechanic installing a lot of the same upgrades. We’re so pathetic, but I love it.

Out of curiosity, how do people feel about the painted bumper strip thing that runs down the doors? I love it, but I’ve had a few people tell me they prefer the black.

Huge  to another Bimmer purchase on NYSpeed. I need to buy one once I get out of school.

Nice.

how many miles on it if you don’t mind me asking?

where did you find it? online? paper?

It’s got 112,000 miles on it, which was a littler higher than I was hoping for, but the car honestly doesn’t reflect that mileage cosmetically or mechanically.

Found it on autotrader.com. I looked pretty extensively over that and cars.com. Any other car listing websites seemed to just have the same inventory found on those two.

It does.
