I honestly expected to get a little more push back about selling the other two cars. I know a LOT of people loved that e30, and a lot of my autocross/track friends would never have expected me to be ready to part with the Porsche. The lovers of the e30 should know that it has been passed into good hands - Seth, the new owner, plans to do a pretty extensive rebuild on it come summer and has promised to keep me updated with pictures and stories
The only thing that would make the bimmer perfect is if the wood was the brushed aluminum.

in regards to the color matched trim, i prefer black as it adds more contrast. e90/e92 looks ok with color matched, but e30/e36/e46 can’t really pull it off imo. but you could make up for that in other ways
How much did you pick it up for? I’m looking for pretty much the same thing except 4 doors…

ultimately its all about your preference but if you ask me, I would stay with the white/clear theme. Maybe look into getting clear front/rear bumper markers or replacing the rear bumpers black molding/mesh if you want a little euro rice. The black door molding just does not look that good imo.
Actually, Dave told me about a guy who wrote up a DIY where he recovered his trim pieces in alcanterra. Trying to find the link to it again. According to him it looked pretty hot, and since I’m not a HUGE fan of wood trim, I am considering it. Once we find the pics I’m sure one of us will post them.
its on BF.c, honestly it looked ok but getting the aluminum, zhp, zcp trim would be better… unless you can find anthricite birtchwood or piano black trim… drool
Cassie, Matte black vinyl works really well for fixing that wood trim problem. We’re doing mine right now and PT did it in his M5 as well.
As in the same vinyl we use on the exterior?

Nice ride, I have almost the same car but 01 black on black.
I think black trim looks cheap, like a lower trim level or something since you have to pay extra on a lot of economy cars to get color matched mirrors and such. But to each her own.

Anyhow, nice car. I like it a lot.
I have piano black trim I think it looks good, i like it better than the wood but, the aluminum is the hottest IMO
