sorry if this has already been covered, i searched but didnt find anything.
does anyone have instructions on how to install a megan shift? i could probably figure it out but i dont want to tear my shifter apart just to figure out i cant put it back togeather.
use the flash animation above as instructions and read below for the only additions not shown in flash animation
the stock wave spring (looks like a wavy ring, you know it when you see it) goes on top of the blue collar that you inserted first then goes the “bush socket” (plastic cup thingy that the shifter rests in).
you will have to get creative and find a good way to get your dust boot to hold on to the plate cover provided with the megan shifter (them top piece that the screws hold down). I used some windshield glue from CT and had clamps holding it down over night, it created a god enough seal not to let out any tranny fluid/gear oil
Hardest part about the whole install i removing the stock C clips if you do not have a C clip removal tool.
