quite frankly, joey has done nothing beneficial for the community. he rips on people every chance he gets with no regard for his actions and brags about getting out of street racing tickets. he screwed over jason who, as i see it, has only benefitted the upstate scene. hes shown several selfless acts from purchasing alot of the food for the shift bbq’s, standing up for jeremy’s wife in the lot fight, and bought a good majority of food for my fundraiser which i cannot begin to explain how thankful i am to everyone who helped me with that. jay and i both flipped our bikes within 2 weeks of each other last year so theres another basis of common ground we shared… joey is young and is trying to get over on him and it aint right… the reason joeys mom was even brought into it was because of this comment: No he’s not kidding, he’s actually viewing it how it happened and isn’t jumping on the bandwagon of “give the car back”, by the way so you people nagging about the car, it’s my mom’s I just drive it and she doesn’t want to trade.
joey had put the owness or “blame” if you will on his mom to dissociate himself from the situation. the right thing to do is to give the fuckin kid back his car because he was lied to (by omission) to get him to do the deal. he has FIXED several issues with the car and is offering to pay the dmv transaction fees to reverse the trade. its only right.
I can understand if you don’t like Joey, but you don’t call his or anyone’s mom a cunt, then act unapologetic afterwards and try to defend you comment.
Like I said, I’m neutral on this dilemma and think both parties are equally at fault, you don’t think Jason had any fault in this? And Joey just threw his mom into the convo, like you said, to take some blame off of himself, which I think is a pretty “low” move, because he had no mention of her until 1/2 way through the thread, I think if she actually did play a roll in the transaction (other than her name being on the title), Joey would have brought her up right away.
Bottom line is, one mention of a person’s name should not be motivation to call her a

Yeah, you seem like the kind of guy that would want to seek something through to completion, didn’t think you would just “forget” to take a test drive. If I had more than one car and if one of them was an auto, it’d be all yours for a month or two :sad

and joey, im neutral too, but leaning more towards your fault somewhat bc you offered the problem car, when you knew of these problems. Be respectful, and tell some one, especially your “friend” what the problems of the car are. I for one, would NEVER buy a car off you. im always reading of the lastest beatings from every car you ever driven, the civ/trans am/gtp/etc… i dont know how many times you left sutters “trying” to spin the tires.

i know. and youve always had clean cars/trucks and a good attitude. im not new myself, but i wouldnt consider 01 back in the day like travis does… back in the day is when my father and im sure many other older guys were racing shirley muldowney. if 7-8 years ago is back in the day to travis, he must be very accomplished and moved on to such great things and done so much that this decade seems like light years ago.
