In other news, I went and talked to my profs today about doing a thesis next year and came up with 3 different options for now:
Nano-lasers, and applying them to the production of tiny semi conductors.
Control-systems, focusing on either aircraft, space craft, or landing modules. This thesis leads to a Masters, if I am accepted for it, I’ll be fast-tracked through my last year and shoved into a Masters program early. (He did specify he wants to see a GPA of about 4.0 or better in my 3rd year for me to be accepted in it :noes:)
Fluid Dynamics, mostly using CFD.
I’ll be talking to a few more profs tommorow, and finding out what else is available, but I’m pretty impressed by these first 3, they all sound insanely awesome. Not that anyone cares, but it’s off-topic, so I’ll rant

But yea… I picked up a couple of papers on femto-lasers from my prof, and I’ll be going over them this weekend. Oohh… life will be so sweet if I land this thesis… then I can just continue with the same prof and do my masters… maybe even a PhD… aaah… the good life.
