Ya Metallica is one of if not the most influential metal band of the…well ever lol. Slayer, Anthrax, motorhead etc were all very infuential as well, but Metallica is one of the very top. For their time when they first hit the scene, they were one of the fastest heaviest playing bands to gain recognition.
