It obviously was that good then if everyone is talking about it
I was at these shows-
the Guns N’ Metallica Tour (July 25, 1992), the Summer Shit Tour (May 30, 1994), the Poor Touring Me Tour (March 25, 1997)
and I saw em at Woodstock 94 also, not into the new stuff very much
Awesome show! We were on the rail, camped out for a few hours, little shot from our “seats”:
We waited in line with Daryl – the guy who made the “Buffalo Magnetic” banner that went up on stage after Seek and Destroy, very cool dude, he is doing the same exact thing for the shows coming up in NYC. Also waited in line with a guy who has hit 19 shows on this tour alone.
Blitzkrieg and No Remorse were a little unexpected, I was really hoping for Whiplash, for everyone who says Metallica sucks, listen to something more than the Black Album and Saint Anger, :cjerk:
^ black album is their best work.
:funny:
Not saying Black Album is bad, but it’s not the only work they have. My favorite albums are Kill 'em All and Load, two completely different styles.
If people shouldn’t like metallica due to an album it’s St.Anger not the black album though. I still like the S&M discs, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.
yeah long story short, had a MASSIVE anxiety attack, was rushed to the emergancy room. missed the show.
IMHO though, …And Justice For All was by far their best album.
wow jeg that was srsly so stupid of you.
srsly
yes. having problems with my tourettes medication that is completely beyond my control is entirely my fault. So of course I was stupid to be rushed to the er because I had a massive anxiety attack which sparked a stress induced asthma attack and I couldn’t breathe. Yep. I’m stupid.. Thank you for the reminder. I totaly fucking forgot.

Gee… thanks guys. As a huge Metallica fan I certainly would have overlooked the fact that 2 of their largest and most popular covers were on their covers album. Do you know if Last Caress was on there too?
My point is that they were released on Kill Em All 10 years before Garage Inc came out… so why was Garage Inc credited with the song? If they played Am I Evil would garage Inc also have been credited? A lot of their B-Sides contained covers, most of which made it into the Garage Inc collection. Helpless, The Small Hours, Last Caress… etc were also on the Garage Days ReRevisited album, but I doubt it would be credited with those songs.
^^ I am with you, but it would make sense that Garage Inc wasn’t made strictly with covers done in 1998, but with all of their covers over the years. Only reason I won’t credit Kill 'em All with credit for the song is because Metallica didn’t write it. Regardless, Turn the Page was sweet, not super familiar with Blitzkrieg, I think Whiplash would’ve been a sweet substitution :headbang:
i do like the Seger version of turn the page, but that being aside i was surprised they did not play the unforgiven or the unforgiven II
