what does the landlord have to say about all this thats going on?
i’m damn sure he knows these papers are coming for him. The sherrif left the summons at our house for us to give to our landlord. He was here ealier that morning to pick up rent checks that bastard lol. We tried calling his cell and left a message. He hasnt gotten back to us yet, atleast i dont think he has. My roomate is out at school right now so i’ll have to ask him later if the landlord called or not. I cant wait to here what he has to say
well heres a quick update
we called the sheriff and got some clarification on this mess. apparently we get 4-6 weeks after the sale date which is FEB 5 to get out. And my roomate told me they said it doesnt matter if we have a lease or not. and since we dont, its probly gonna be a kick out of the house between mar 5 and march 19th. thats 4-6 weeks after the sale
and plan B, another place we looked at today is a NO GO. now on to plan C, another house behind ours
hell it takes longer than that to get kicked out of section 8… just ask sonny :dunno:
you should quit paying rent now and say to hell w/ your security deposit. If the landord is that broke then I wouldn’t rely on him giving it back.

yep canceled all the checks we could…not sure how many we got canceled before he cashed them, i’ll have to check with my roomate who handles the rent stuff…but i’m sure we got some canceled
