Mikes 89 honda prelude, project "skylude"

Well, here’s the 89 Prelude i picked up that someone was trying to make look like a skyline. He made the front and back bumpers from scratch, and there is a ton of work left to do to it. So heres the way it looked when i got it.

So, i know that it’s really ugly, but this is the start that someone else had on it, and now i’m going to see what i can do with it.

well for starters, i’m just kind of smoothing everything out, and fixing problems with, it, like you’ll see in these next pics. And hey guys, i appreciate all constructive criticism, but if you’re gona be a dick, do me a favor, find a different thread to talk shit in. This car is sitting at my house, no one elses, so if you don’t like it, then don’t look at it, plain and simple.

Just trying to get the body the way it is ready for primer before it starts getting cold. The quarters are the worse, the drivers side one is basically done as you can see above, i have to do the same for the passenger side.

thanks for the good luck, i’m definitely going to need it. But, it’s one hell of a challenge to try and make this into a “somewhat” decent car. Putting my bodywork skills to the test. LOL

i really don’t care if anyone approves of it to be honest with you. I just wanted the challenge. If people like it they like it, if not, i really don’t care. As long as i’m satisfied with the finished product.
