What is the progress on this? Is it still a local Rochester car?
yes, take a look at the earlier pictures, they are there. Tubbing the front will help me run a more advantageous ride height while still allowing the front wheels the majority of their steering angle throughout the entire range of suspension travel.
its currently “mothballed” and in storage in the albany area. No progress until 2013. 
Its been a while, but it looks like this will be back underway a little earlier than expected. Making a list of parts and materials to order now. First step is going to be a proper frame table for it so I can finalize suspension and steering mods. 
I always get excited when I see this thread get bumped.
