ok i bought a mild n/a cam a few months ago for my car never thinking that i was gonna turbo it whell i did. so what i want to know is will a mild n/a cam work with a turbo setup?
it will adjustable cam gears would be a big plus so you can make it work properly
Need a little more info than just that. What cam(s) did you buy? What’s the specs on it? If there is to much overlap you’ll be bleeding boost off. Cam timing can only do so much, but a set of cam gears will certainly help
it also depends on your turbo setup.
All new performance camshaft. Uses Hydraulic rocker arms. Great for street/strip. Makes power from 2500 RPMs to redline. Good idle. < copied and pasted from the website so thats all the info i have about the cam myself, no adjustable cam gears avalible either and as far as the turbo setup its just a junkyard turbo setup. dont permaban me but its stock 1.3l ford festiva with a t25 bolted on
