hi i got a few questions i got a 98 honda civic with a d16y7 i wanted to buy a vtec y8 head off of another pitt speed member i wanted to kno if by doin the y8 head will it cause confusion wen its time to do timing belt or will there be a problem passing emissions?
timing belt is the same length, no change neccessary, although if it hasn’t been done in awhile do it anyways for cheap insurance.
emissions wise as long as you use another vtec ecu from an obd2 car there should be no cel’s which in turn means no problems at the emissions station
