The M3 is finally inspected, has new tires, suspension, and a nice alignment (big thanks to A.S.S.)
Pop quiz: This would be perfect time for a Shifter to indulge in which of the following:
a) AutoX session to gauge how the car transitions
b) HPDE to see if that extra 0.5 deg negative camber helps keep car planted
c) Bombing local on and off ramps with iPod accelerometer
d) Hard Park Photo Shoot in parking lot of cheap variety goods store
If you answered “d” give yourself a big pat on the back!
So here are a few quick shots of my cousin’s BB6, bro’s DB7, and the M3- (special thanks to my cuz Bry for the photos / editing)
Bry’s car is running good, he got rid of the test pipe and didn’t have any more issues after that. The questionable suspension with the bad strut was replaced with coilovers. Car drives well and looks great.
I need the extra two doors. Besides, coupes are everywhere.
Yup I saw you the other day, I think it was Route 7. I’m not ready for an E39 yet. Still scraping pennies together. Nice car though. :thumb
Yeah as if anyone on Shift has an Aston! Not a “Honda Guy” but chassis codes work well for titles 'cause they’re short! DB7 is a 4 dr Integra without VtAK! (yo)
Thanks Joey… Like the crazy ex, even after getting rid of 'em, K1s seem to always find their way back into our household! They’re just a great wheel!
So do SSRs (see above). This is not the same set that was on my 325, I sold those a while ago. Those were 17x8. These are 18x8.5. I normally wouldn’t go 18" on an E36 but they were too tempting…
