I finially got started on my mini tub project. Here is a few pics. Nothing is welded yet.

Thanks Brian. I’m currently running a 30" X 10" tire. I’ll be able to run at least a 29.5W or 30W. Maybe wider depending on if I relocate the LCA or not. I’m really looking to lower the car.
Yes I’ve had a Wolfe anti roll bar for awhile now.
I don’t know if I posted this or not but my tranny and converter went south. Thats why my car slowed down so much the last 3 trips to the track. It got slower each trip until it slowed to a 10.51 at 127. thats when I put it on the trailer, took it home and tore it down.

My transmision has been togther for 6 years now. On it’s 32 pass the planetary came apart, sent it back and they redid it with a better gearset. I tore it down myself 2 years ago everything still looked ok. Well today i sent it back to JW transmissions to have it freshened, I’m not goin to take a chance any longer. What trans are you running? Who built it?

Rossler built it the first time. 6 clutches and a steel drum. This time I had A local Butler guy do it. 8 clutches this time and an aluminum drum :naughty:

Rossler does a good job. I was goin to take mine there but after the abuse mine took there was not even a thought of goin anywhere else with it.
The upgrades for this this year are the tranny as mentioned plus
new cam
head work
big stuff 3 ecm
Afco double adjustable shocks rear
mini tub
adjustable spring perches rear
2.5" X 10" X 150 springs rear
LCA relocation brackets
rear end was shortened 3" per side
Maybe move the LCA’s in 2"… I gotta do some measuring first.

Oh ya the motor is being freshened also. Besides my tranny going south I also had poor leakdown results. They found 5 questionable intake valves.
So I should be in good shape for 2 years after all this work.
