Mini vacation spots within 5hrs of here?

Meh, every time I’ve gone to PIB it’s been a riot. Guess you need to be with the right people

The woods and the city are two entirely separate things.

If it’s the woods with a fun downtown, give Lake George a try. I’d say Old Forge, but that’s probably pretty dead this time of year in-between summer / winter crowd.

Canada is great again 1.33 exchange

Toronto, Pittsburgh, or Cleveland for somewhere close and easy to drive.

Don’t rule out NYC, it can be done cheap. I personally like flying in and staying in Manhattan but don’t rule out driving to Jersey and taking the train in. Just make sure it is the $2 train and not the $20 one. Penn Station Newark NJ has the $2 train, I think it is called The Path.

Or like mentioned there are a lot of good scenic vacations like the Adirondacks or Finger Lakes. Off season you could even get a cabin at Letchworth or Allegany because in the off season you don’t have to get it for a whole week. Actually in the winter a night or two at Allegany or Letchworth can be peaceful and relaxing. Go for a snowshoe walk, play board games. Basically unplug from the matrix.

Yeah if we go camping we want to bring our dog, allheganey lets you but letchworth apparently doesnt let you bring dogs. Or is it pitbulls? Well either way i have one lol

Id love to do letchworth because i havent done it before.

Thanks for all the help guys, tonight we will make our decision.

I recently spent a weekend in Montreal (roughly a 6-6.5 hr drive from buffalo) and thought it was interesting, and old Montreal was charming, my wife and I enjoyed it and would go back. Plus the exchange rate is def in our favor.

This.

1.00 USD = 1.33230 CAD

Canada is on sale right now.

Montreal is probably my favorite city in NA.

3 hours in NY 3 hours in Canadaland. Easy drive. Fun stuff, bitches like to shop, I love to gamble, we both love tits. WIN WIN WIN

What do you like to do besides sight see? Base your trip around a hobby or an interest.

So went to letchworth Monday just for the day, no camping. Was a nice ride and was nice to see everything there.

Wednesday we drove to toronto, took the gfs car, it was about a 2.5hr drive there. Toronto zoo was our first stop which obviously the weather sucked it was low 40s, it was a decent zoo, not sure if it was worth seeing. But bought our city pass there which had tickets to the science museum, casa loma(castle), royal ontario museum, the zoo and CN tower.

Since it was a day trip didnt do everything but did a good amount.

The zoo was mehh

Science center/muesem was even more mehh, kinda just had little interactive exhibits that seemed lame definitely not as cool as even our muesem.

The Casa Loma castle tour was really cool, i definitely recommend it. Hours of time to see everything, 800ft tunnel under ground to basically a stable/ garage with vintage 1920s cars.

After those things didnt have enough time to see the royal ontario museum since they closed at like 5pm. Wish we checked it out instead of the science museum. So still have a ticket for it.

We then ate the Lakeview, small diner, i got a burger which was ok, i wasnt really trying to have an extravagant dinner so it was worth it.

Then we paid for parking which i used american money, had a $20 bill and they guy was very happy i paid american and gave me exact amount of change that it would have been if i paid with canadian. Oh well i didnt really care much.

Walked to the CN tower, it was cool to see, nice experience i recommend checking it out.

After that ripleys aquarium which is next to the CN tower, it was awesome. Theres an under water tunnel with stingrays and sharks swimming above your head, and literally the stomaches of the sharks are touching the glass, so youre really close and it was just cool to see. Also a lot of cool fish to check out, must of been over an hour inside the place checking stuff out. I recommend it as well, but it wasnt part of the city pass was around $20 a person to get in.

So i figured i spent a lot of money but checking my bank statment was a nice surprise because they convert the money and you get the exchange rate, so almost better to pay with your bank card for everything you can.

First time traveling to a foreign country with a bank card?

I was in NF sat. night…was getting 1.37 : 1.00 Made the Casino VERY fun until I cashed back out in Americano…sigh

Yep.

It was a pretty cool experience, some how the driving wasnt that bad. Everytime a light turned green and you had to make a turn, you had to let pedestrain walk by and there was a lot of them, but some how everything meshed properly.

toronto is pretty awesome
