It could be but you could also claim its how you feel the car is, I have to spots of rust and a dent on my car and someone could say its rusty and needs body work…
It works all the time, I “paid” $100 for my car no questions asked.

ok here goes.
If the wholesale value is under 1000$ then you can sell the car for anything. 1$ 50$ 100$ etc and you ONLY pay the taxes on the price you paid.
If the wholesale value of the car is more than 1000$ then you pay the taxes on the wholesale value. So in this case, the eclipse will be 15000 or about there. So 7% of 15000 is what you’ll have to pay.
so suck it up sweetheart.
   Agreed on the tax.
But seriously, they will only accept a car as a gift only from immediate family. Legally they have to go buy the list price on the used sales package. Sometimes if the person is nice they won’t do that. When I went to MTO to transfer two vehicles I took the bill of sale that stated that the car was worth a few hundred dollars and they accepted it. They aren’t allowed to do that but they do, it really depends on who you get to deal with. But don’t tell them about the trade just take in the bill of sale that states you got the car for like $400. Like someone said, tell them the car is in bad condition, high km, body damage, etc… Good luck!!!

Thats fraud isnt it? lol.[/quote]
Yah, So? Getting a 03 eclipse is a crime in itself, what’s it matter if you commit another in the process?
You think he would say my goal is to sell it and buy another 240sx or an older skyline or something… oh man Im so disapointed .

haha, im not gonna be modding any more cars man, I have a life of much more important things to look up to, I want a house. Cars are a waste anyways unless you have money to blow, then they are awesome.
houses are a waste of money, you cant even drive them.
as i told greg, if you want to modify cars and buy a house get a turbo diesel motor home, up the boost and add some propane and nitrous injection, and it already has the air ride, so youll be set.
kids kids kids…
i want a house with a hoist in my garage
never going to give up on cars!!!
Don’t bother with even THINKING about a house until you have a CAREER…
EVEN IF you have all the cash for a house now… what if you finish uni/college and find a place that wants you to move to Sweden or something… then you gotta list the house, find a buyer, sell it , etc etc etc.
WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG you do NOT want ANYTHING to tie you down.
Unless of course you are talking about not wasting money on cars NOW in order to save towards a house in the future… in which case kindly disregard the jargon found above.
Either way… if you are a true car guy you will find your way back to it somehow. I started with a 240, woke up one morning and decided “fuck it, no more cars… buying something i wont mod” bought a pathy… that sure didnt work.
I do have a career, already been offered full benefits, haha, im getting old.
dont put it into your name, go to a dealer and trade in the POS and im sure they will give u 15G towards any car u buy from that same dealer…best way to get ure cash out without investing any $$ into taxes and registration.
You can’t put an age on this hobby my friend.
Cars, modifications, motorsports and speed they are just one of those things that it’s either in you or it’s not.
Im 28 years old I now own my own home and I have 2 hobbies one is my cars and two is traveling. I have 1 full time career and 1 part time job, I work my ass off 7 days a weeks and yet I still manage to put some money away and make some time for both.
We all have resposibilities in life and as we get older they increase, but you still have to make the time to do the things you enjoy in life. If I didn’t have all these reponsibilities and expenses I would have the fastest 240sx and I would be travelling 6 month’s per year.
So yes there comes a time you have to get serious about your life and what you will do with it but you can’t leave what you love behind.
As far as we know we get one crack at life so make the most of it and make it the best you can…Don’t sacrifice the things you love… find ways to do the things you want to do in life without having to lose other things this way you can have the best of both worlds.
That’s the way I look at it, everyone is different so I can’t speak for you but no matter what you deside to do with your cars and your life I wish you the best and good luck. Im just disapointed because it’s one less 240sx driver and one less person in the club .
Ohhh yah, forgot about that. :?
lol…not his fault, he called me back, the other dude is having problems getting the money. Shady that he didnt fucking call me himself tho.
haha that little fucker did it again…
